Among many traits humans possess, but don't always use, is the power of observation. There are, in fact, entire categories of Science which are devoted to observation and testing. Although I am always with myself, as soon as I leave my home I am with others. I can observe what happens to them and what happens to me. THAT IS THE REASON WHY SO MANY YOUNG BLACK CHILDREN INCORPORATE FEELINGS OF INFERIORITY. THEY DO NOT HAVE TO BE SCIENTIFIC GENIUSES TO SEE HOW THEY ARE TREATED IN RELATION TO OTHERS. So, yes, one's identity can determine one's reality, or, at least how your reality can be shaped by how other people react to you.

Surely you are not comparing your reaction to your car breaking down, a mechanical rather than a human occurrence, to one that occurs between people. I believe that you wish to sound profound, but you have failed to do so. Shalom and Salaam.
