Among the many reasons I abhor Amy Coney Barrett is because of the way she described her children. Her biological children, nice and white, were all characterized as having the high intellects and high aspirations of their parents. They have happy futures. Her two adopted children were characterized by their ability to lift weights and to make jokes. They have a Haitian past, but she made no mention of the high hopes she has for them. My guess is that she has none, and that their presence is an obligation she takes on as a "Christian." If the parents of those children had not borne them, then she might be lacking the brown "human talking points" bolstering her masquerade as a "real person." Shame on her. She is the handmaiden of a vicious master.
