Are skills determined by her college scores or what the effects of her work were? Obviously, more babies died when she was on duty, and for some reason, administrators "didn't want it to be Lucy." (I'm not making that up. I heard one of the doctors at the hospital say that in an interview.) If it were a black nurse, she would have been looked at a lot more closely and people would have questioned her competence. So Lucy had high test scores. Now a lot of people have dead children, thanks to her.
