Bren, you're a kinder person than I am. Let me tell you why. When someone writes the following:

"I'm just a standard white guy (you know the type everyone spits at just because)," I find that they have already declared their orientation, and it is not bisexual. It is WHITE. I'm simply saying that if he really BELIEVES that standard issue white guys are spat upon, then he is already closed to believing that other types of people are, in fact, NOT victims of prejudice when he knows that they are.

People are visibly male, female, brown, black, white, Asian, tall, short, attractive, not attractive, and so on. Unfortunately, although this writer wants to claim that DEI is "all about appearance," well, how do we initially identify people? Is he really going to try to argue that people are not treated differently due to their skin color? One is not "visibly" gay
