CRT is not more truthful American History, nor is a curriculum. It is a method, a practice of analyzing US laws given "race" as a social construction rather than a biological given. Confusing it with history is probably more favorable than not knowing what it is at all., but believing that it has to do with teaching rather than analysis, is still a mistake.
