Did it really never occur to these people that Republicans and white people work for the Federal Government, or that people in red states receive more government benefits than do residents of blue states?

I'm hoping that if nothing else, then the harm that elected Republican representatives see happening to their constituents may be enough to free their consciences from Trump's hold. Fear of angry constituents may be more effective than fear of Musk and Trump. We'll see.
