Even 20% means that a lot of people don't have their brains on straight, and despite the "not a large number," the numbers were still greater than in 2016. That's a disgrace.

I don't expect most white women to vote the way I would--their privilege is at stake. However, I expect US to turn out in greater numbers, because our futures depend on who is in office and who they nominate to the Supreme Court more than for any other group.

Please don't tell me we don't have numbers, power, and responsibility. How did Barack Obama get elected twice? Our turnout makes THAT much difference, and we turned up. If you look at some of the margins by which Trump won states in 2016; 10,000 and change in Michigan, then it's going to be hard to convince me that black folks turning out wouldn't have turned the tide. In Pennsylvania, Trump's 2016 margin was 44,500 and change. Heck, that fewer than a couple of Philadelphia neighborhoods. Again, black turnout would have changed that outcome. I am a mean, old woman, and I'm not cutting anybody a break. We could have turned up; should have turned up, and we didn't. If you didn't help then, you can't complain now.
