Fifty million+ people may not be stupid, but 50 million+ people can definitely be racist, fearful, intolerant of change, and jealous of their own status. I don't want to claim that everything in the US is attributable to racism, but an honest view of our history makes a compelling case that much is.

NO ONE can deny how both the House and Senate openly thwarted and demeaned Barack Obama, often cutting off the noses of Americans in order to spite Barack Obama's face. Unfortunately, hatred, greed, self-aggrandization, and cowardice are sadly prevalent. I don't see those who suffer from those afflictions choosing the better angel, even though the better angel is on their side.
