Three days out from the election, and I’m really, very, truly, exceedingly, exhaustingly, definitely, absolutely, positively, and all other applicable “lys” there are of the namby-pamby, equivocating, and cowardly analyses of why Donald Trump gained the 2024 Presidency.

After a defeat, there is always the desire to “explain” what went wrong and how it happened. The pundits, especially on the Democratic side, are not disappointing us and are beating their chests, rending their hair, and covering their mirrors. They have no dearth of finger pointing and many explanations, none of which is the truth.

Kamala Harris didn’t “lose.”

Donald Trump “won,” and he didn’t win for the myriad “reasons” offered by gurus. “Harris was not a legitimate candidate, but an annointed one.” “Democrats have abandoned the white working class.” “The economy is poor, and there’s a debate over which is higher; inflation, or the price of eggs.” “Kamala Harris was isolated and didn’t ‘reach out’ enough.” “White males are at the bottom of the totem pole, and they’re, ‘rightfully,’ resentful.” “If she had only gone on Joe Rogan…”
