Folks are always inadvertently outing themselves. Do you recall when Rita Moreno was asked about the lack of darker-skinned Latinos in "In the Heights" and said "Why can't you just wait a while and leave it alone?" Wait? Even others who are so-called people of color obviously view darker-skinned people as second class and tell us to "wait?"

Clearly, there are people who believe they have the standing and privilege to weigh in on who deserves access to all of their rights and when they should get them. Sadly, that's still most Americans. It's why we fight.
