Gee, some of us have the attention spans and the interest in reading longer articles. I know that stories longer than five minutes don't get as many views, but I'll read them out of solidarity with longer-form writers. Creative non-fiction is not so formulaic that its "answer" lies only at the end of the piece. It's not a Cracker Jack prize. Medium is a medium; it's not a prescription.
