Getting followed in high-end shops (where I generally go to peek and not to buy) is such a frequent occurrence that I occasionally travel stores in weird patterns just to see how far some staff member will go to follow me. It's something. I won't get greeted when I walk in, though white potential customers generally are, and I can never find a sales associate when I want one, but, Lord, my coverage is better than the Secret Service gives if I'm just walking around.
