How would you know what percentage uses what and whether or not they "dislike" it? Language changes, sometimes very slowly, sometimes relatively quickly, to recognize progress in society. It took a long time for "Ms" to be recognized as acceptable usage in English, but it's a common term now. "Latinx" may not be in general use now, but perhaps the case will be different in 20 years. Sanders may have done the term a favor in the wider US with her stupid and useless move, Kentucky boasts a native Spanish-speaking population of a whopping 3.45 percent.
