I admire the New Yorker because it NEVER gets its covers wrong. The New Yorker was not attempting to denigrate the Obamas in any way. It was portraying how frightened, prejudiced people viewed the Obamas after Michelle gave Barack a fist bump at the Democratic Convention.

Do you believe that the typical New Yorker reader mistakes the Obamas as angry radicals? We are definitely portrayed negatively in the media, but that example is one of the times when we weren't. Sadly, the New Yorker has displayed less Misogynoir toward us than have our own men.
