I agree that blacks are conservative. We need to re-think what we think we believe about religion, however. Sometimes, we are conservative when it goes against our own interests, or, because we're having the knee-jerk reaction that someone told us to have.

Is there really something "wrong" with LGBTQ people, or have been "told" that there is and accepted it without question. Why are we "conservative" when it comes to abortion, but fail to be "conservative" to the same degree when unmarried men and women have children with multiple partners, many of those kids destined for poverty and foster care?

I want going to church to be more about thought and less about tradition. Perhaps, then, we wouldn't be so conservative.
