I am tired of John "Toby" McWhorter. He has figured out that the shortcut to white acceptance is to demean those from whence he came. If I had more patience, I would try to find out how his head got to be where it's at, but I don't have that much patience, and I don't care how he came to be.

His outsized desire to be noticed has caused him to harm people of color, and his outsized desire not to be a person of color has caused him to beg for acceptance at the feet (and I do mean feet) of whites. He would love to be a "public intellectual," but his masters don't think of him as an intellect. They think of him as useful. One day, he's gonna find out...
