I appreciate your thoughts. I can't speak for other Democrats, but I prefer high-minded, critically-thinking, and inclusive to "likable." Red-state people are not "richer." Red states are the states that depend on the blue states' tax revenues. I don't know if red state voters are "stronger." If so, I'd have to call it "by weight, and not by volume." They don't like us? Makes me no never mind. I didn't like my seventh-grade math teacher, but it still did me good to learn from him.
I frankly can't think of anything more unkind than rounding up people and chaining them to be deported on a non-necessary military plane, or stealing lunch from poor kids, or actually having people die, which has been documented, because of a stupid hold up in USAID funds, causing both food and medicines to sit on docks and spoil. If you just "left," then, like it or not, you're responsible for what we're experiencing as I write this. I'm pretty sure that red staters did not envision a bunch of unvetted 20-year-olds having access codes to the Treasury or to their Social Security accounts or having Republican workers lose their jobs. As Michael Steele, a former Republican, said, "We tried to tell your dumb asses, but y'all wouldn't listen."
You don't have to listen now, but you'll regret that you didn't. And, by the bye, how much did you pay for your last dozen eggs?
Again, I appreciate your taking the time to read and respond to my thoughts. I genuinely welcome the viewpoint of every reader.
