I do not say "You know," and, more proudly, I don't append "Right" to every statement and question. Are people asserting their opinions, or are they looking for validation? Listen for it. Even on dedicated news stations where you think presenters and guests would know better, every third statement has "Right" added to it as a question. It irks me well beyond "you know."
