I don't think of Americans as in love with centrism as much as they are in love with torpor. For some reason, we laud people in other countries who stand up for their rights, but we, ourselves, just let things go.

I don't know at what point it became negative to be politically engaged, but we have passed it. I'm showing my bias here, but we've allowed the right to become violent and blatantly steal democracy, while we tsk, tsk, and confuse healthy engagement and voice with bad manners. We've allowed the right to steal the Supreme Court, and we react only when it's too late.

Quiet folks, you better wake the hell up. 'cause we don't have long.

Thank you for reminding us what's what, Johnny. The 2024 election isn't approaching; it's here, and it's now. If you're afraid to work by yourself, then remember, there's safety in numbers. Get counted.
