I generally wholeheartedly agree with you and respect your viewpoint, but I can't on this one. We are not diplomats. We don't know what goes on behind the scenes in international diplomacy, AND WE DON'T NEED TO. I absolutely abhor what Israel is doing. It is slow genocide without a doubt, and I am ashamed that it would visit such horrors on a people who had nothing to do with their historical suffering.

HOWEVER. I understand their shock and anger at what happened on October 7th. I believe that their response eliminates any hope for some "peaceful" resolution of their conflict with the Palestinians, and I wonder where all of these pro-Palestinian voices have been for the past seven decades. Have we really not noticed Israel's ongoing pre-emption and destruction of Palestine until now?

Yes, I WILL BLAME BLACKS, PROGRESSIVES, AND OTHER INDIGNANT COMMUNITIES if Biden loses. Blacks proved how much they could move the needle in 2008 when we showed up for Barack Obama, and we proved it again when we DIDN'T show up in 2010. Have Progressives really not learned their lessons from 2000 and 2016, when they wanted to "punish" the mainstream Democratic majority? If you want to "punish" your side and it benefits the enemy, then you need to think again. That is how we ended up with George W. Bush and Donald Trump. We need to get it right this time. I'm too old to move to another country. Indignation is so effing easy to practice. We're going to have the Republicans dancing in the streets.
