I get you. However, the Bible as we know it is always open to interpretation because, the original words, translations, and meanings are beyond most of us. More than anything, the Bible is a human enterprise whose entries are picked, chosen, included, excluded, and probably also invented, by those who have had power, knowledge, and political and social agendas over the centuries.
Let me share this little piece of info with you. I could just as likely have gone with any other source of scriptural interpretation. This is just the one that was first in my search.
