I have, perhaps, made enemies of some folks, because I have told them that in the wake of th Dobbs decision, I'm not weeping, I'm not marching, and I'm not signing anything. What good would that do now? Women weren't gaslit. If you could see what was happening from miles away, so could others. Some folks didn't bother to go to the polls in 2016. Others voted for Trump as a "novelty." Every one of them brought us to the unjust place where we are now. It didn't have to be this way. If I weep for anything, then it's because of our complacency in the face of a clear and present danger. If you didn't help then, then don't complain now. "Don't it always seem to go that you don't know what you've got 'til it's gone?"
