I have suggested, on various Facebook posts, websites, and Medium, that people do exactly what you have done. Find a foundational text on CRT, read it, and as many of the works suggested in its bibliography as you can, then explain to friends, neighbors, and detractors what it really is. I have warned that the undertaking can be expensive, as some foundational texts are textbooks, and that it takes intellectual commitment, as the concepts are not easy. Let's face it; it's easier for people to dismiss what they don't know than to spend energy on discovering the truth. Republicans both depend on and exploit, ignorance.

What's even more important is that people understand that CRT is not a curriculum, to be taught, or to be confused with American History, but is a method or a practice, which is applied to analyzing US laws
