I have traveled to places where there are few black people, and I have had a heck of a time finding a salon. I have gone to places such as malls, looked for black women, and asked them where they got their hair done. It was never convenient.

I'm not asking for the moon. If all I want is a wash and a dryer set, and anybody who's been to school should be able to do that. The issue is often not skill. It's choice. I was in London and I went to a salon that told me they did "ethnic hair" one day a week. There were two black stylists working there. What the...?
