I loved the Beverly Hillbillies when I was growing up. The writers were absolute geniuses. I appreciated it more as an adult when viewing an episode, the Dreysdales give the Clampetts a boat and a pet chimp. At mealtime, Granny says of the chimp, "It don't matter what he looks like; he'll always be welcome at my table." Go, Granny.
