I PRAY we get to point at your and say "You were wrong, John!"

Americans are easily swayed by name recognition, reverence for wealth, and an unconscious longing for dynasty. We believe that wealth is superior to knowledge, and though we need "experts," we don't like them. We can be our own worst enemies, sometimes. I, too, fear that the air is fouling. Perhaps the right storm will clear it.
