I was in the Midwest when the Quad Cities suffered two "100-year floods" within six weeks. I was also there for the big Mississippi River flood. The Midwest is not going to be the safest place to live. It is going to be alternately either too dry, too hot, or way too wet. The entire region could easily be flooded by the Great Lakes. I'm not saying that to kill your buzz; that's just a fact of geography
