I wish that all oppressed people would show up for one another, but we don't. "Speaking out" on Twitter is positive, but it isn't active. I'm black, and I've been to demonstrations in support of all manner of oppressed populations. Sad to say, I rarely see other black people there. I generally see whites at black-supporting events, but I rarely see other "people of color," including Asians and Spanish-speakers there. We all need to support on another, but too many of us oppressed folks fail to show solidarity, period.
