I wouldn't consider a ceiling of $125,000 "upper-class." Yes, I know it's above the average income, but it's far from wealthy. As for benefiting more whites than blacks? Do more whites than black go to college? Perhaps. Are there plenty of black folks who have college debt and incomes of less than $125,000? There sure are.
