If some white people had shown up right away to help defend the black man, it would have been obvious who they were helping. You can speculate on what "may" have happened, but what is beyond doubt is that no (or perhaps, one) white person showed up on behalf of the black man. No, they showed up for the bullies. I don't want to hear any talk about "allies" for a while, because if there were any, they didn't help, did they?
