If that had been the point of your article, then that would have been just fine. However, it was addressed to black people, as if we're the only ones who carry illicit guns and shoot one another; the writer then showed an image of a woman which he clearly wants us to interpret as "ghetto," then he makes fun of people's names!

Poor rap music! Was there no street violence before rap music? Did the Irish and Italian gangs have violent "bash yourselves" music which caused them to fight both themselves and other groups?

I'm asking what the point of the piece is, because it seems a lot less about gun safety and a lot more about bashing black people. The writer could have made the point without the insults and ridicule. If you think I'm wrong, then read that piece again. It is one broad, self-hating brush.
