If you want a cheap printer that lasts forever, buy an Epson Eco printer. They last forever. The print quality is terrible; you would only use it for draft-quality output, but if you have to print a lot, then it's the one to have. I hate it, but it doesn't break down, and in THREE YEARS it hasn't run out of ink. If you want it, then you can have it.
