I'll discuss the rest of your essay in more detail, but I need to point out that the benefits of Affirmative Action did not accrue only to people of color. There are no advantages that accrue only to black or brown people. Those would never have been passed. White women, who were also included in Affirmative Action, have been its largest beneficiaries, yet few seem to complain about that.
