I'm black, proud, accomplished, and happy. I still see white privilege all the time. It's against the law to do a lot of things,but it's not against the law to BE a lot of things or to act in hundreds of small ways every day, both consciously, and not to demonstrate you're "better." When YOU can wake up and not have to think about who are, that's white privilege. When YOU believe that you have some inexplicable, perhaps "God-given" right to determine how other people live, then you have white privilege. While I respect your point of view, I believe it is mistaken. White privilege is definitely "a thing."
