I'm not even going to try to discuss that Disney's goal is to make money. That's obvious. You don't know me nor what "internationally-funded creative projects" in which I have or have not participated. Some of Disney's corporate organs have lost money. Most have not.
I was quite entertained by The Little Mermaid. I was even more entertained by Barbie, which, as you know, reached a billion dollars in record time. Was that despite its admirable diversity? Frankly, neither Disney nor Warner Brothers cares what you think. If people are "sick" of diversity, then they wouldn't go to the movies. Besides, you know that "audiences" vote with their purses. Only film professionals vote for Oscar contenders, and the majority of performers, artisans, and technicians are white. You just seem to have an issue with "diversity." Films mirror the real world these days, and some people don't like it. Too bad for them. Too bad for you. Good for Halle Bailey, though, who has the voice of a siren.
(Gee, I have heard of Andersen! Is there anything else you'd like to tell me that I already know?) I'm not usually so snarky in my replies to people, but your know-it-all attitude worked on me.)
