I'm not seeing NPR fostering division among people of color. First of all, that IS the question that many people and press organizations asked themselves about the election, considering that three people who were identifiably African-American were mayoral candidates and lost. Second, it is only VERY recently that Asians have been included among "people of color," or "non-WASP," because they have been considered both "white-adjacent" and a "model minority." That white adjacency makes them more acceptable to voters in general. NPR isn't producing; NPR is reporting.
