I'm the odd woman out, I guess. I can't agree with anything you've said, and I consider your "translations" of the terms biased. You have most certainly not defined microaggressions in any accurate way. People are "paranoid" and "imagining" offence? Are you the one who determines whether people "imagine" their experiences, and what gives you the license to believe that you can? Patriarchy goes waaay beyond "selfishness," and if that's how you define it, then you need both a dictionary and a history lesson. This is not the first time I've been the odd one out, but it's also not the first time I've been more right than not.

Seems to me that you don't have an issue with the vocabulary, but instead have an issue with people who disagree with you.
