It is not Communism that has caused Cuba to decline. It is, instead, the punishment of the embargo, enforced by America because of its initial outrage to Castro's actions, but, most of all, the continuing enmity of Cuban Americans who will punish any political party that eases any restrictions on the island. Communism alone is not "bad enough." Christ and his disciples lived communally. What is "bad enough" is the tendency of those who gain power to want to continue to stay in power and the continuing blackmail of American politics by former Cubans in America.
