It never ceases to amaze me at how much white people, especially men, believe they have the license to determine who gets what rights and when.

Old white men in Congress and the Supreme Court have decreed that it's okay for blacks to have some rights, for women to have some rights, for LGBTQ+ people, etc., to have some rights because they decided to grant them. They determined that so-called "inter-racial " marriage was legal. Did they really have no idea of who was sleeping with whom before that? Who granted them their rights?
