It NEVER FAILS that respondents, who probably identify as “White,” are “offended” by the writer’s assumptions, or question his self-worth, or believe that he is “virtue signaling.” There is no greater sin for a white person to commit (unless it’s a white woman finding black men attractive) than to be a traitor and out the hypocricies of the “tribe.” For those of us who are “non-white,” it’s refreshing to have someone acknowledge what, believe me, WE ALREADY KNOW. We know that you will look for some fault to highlight the writer’s fragility in order to deny your own. Don’t bother. Those on either side know where you’re coming from.
