It's on us to help these victims get out of their ruts. White people sure aren't going to help, because they benefit from pointing to them as examples. We can't point to them as well. We have to do whatever we can (even in the face of their opposition) to get that white voice out of their heads. Their lack of a sky isn't just their issue; it's ours too.
