It's probably stating the obvious, but if you would not seek someone who's socially/ethnically different in your real life, then you're probably going to reject them in your on-line life as well. What we have learned too well, since the onset of the Obama administration, is that given anonymity, there is no end to the hatred that people will voice.

Of course, if you prefer anonymity in order to seek partners of whom your famailiars would disapprove, then dating apps are a godsend. However, none of this is news!
