Kelly, I was listening to the radio (NPR, of course, with my liberal self) and there was a feature about how so many more people were flourishing since the Biden Administration restored funding for the Affordable Care Act.
The correspondent interviewed a man from West Virginia. He had divorced a few years ago . He had insurance coverage via his wife, and he lost it. He spent some time uninsured. When funding was restored, he couldn't say enough good about the ACA. There was more outreach, so he discovered that he was eligible. An ACA employee guided him through the program and he received affordable benefits. HOWEVER, he was going to vote for Donald Trump because he didn't want to have Obamacare. The correspondent asked him why he would chance losing health coverage, and he said he'd either go without or get married again for healthcare.
Yep. They're out there. I could cry.
