Ken, without the victory you have no opportunity to achieve anything at all. If you're celebrating Judge Brown-Jackson right now (and I don't know if you are) contemplate that there would be no her without a Democratic administration AND a Democratic Senate.

I love ideals. I may even have a few myself! If it depends solely on my efforts to achieve them, then they may happen. If I have to depend on the whims of others though, then the chances are greatly reduced; especially when there are folks around whose sole objectie is to crush what I want, even if it's good for them.
