Many black men think of us as tasty fruit, but we're still low hanging. We're not the white fruit of their dreams at the top of the tree. They'll spend time with us, even love us, but the elusive white princess is too often at the back of their minds. We're human. We can't compete with a dream, so we get reminded of that often. You know, we black women have our dreams too. Maybe some men had better wake up.
