Misty Rae, I agree with you much of the time, but as a brown woman who spends a great deal of time in the white world, it wasn't the pocketbook. Discretionary spending has been up for the past several months. If you haven't seen this, then may I share it with you? "Pocketbook" is what people say when you don't want to tell the truth. Yes, people are struggling, but they should be aware of which elements in business and government are causing them to struggle.
