Must disagree. Perhaps it depends on where you live, but I don't see green activists in the US showing only contempt for the poor. Could they be better at messaging WHY the move away from fossils and toward renewables is more beneficial for them? They could. But at the same time, the politicians many of whom are owned by the fossil fuel industry, keep lying to them.
