My, my. You can always state the "exception," can't you? Unfortunately, just because you claim something does not make it true. Perhaps you have never found a black person (which I could easily believe) or you have never found a black person who would admit wanting to trade places with a white one.

Yes, we have read of a white person or two (you know of more than that?) who mistakenly believe that they will gain some "privilege" by claiming color. Anyone who is able to "pass" as white is actually white, unless one subscribes to the racist and ridiculous "one-drop" (or maybe two drops) rule. If someone "passes," then you don't know it.
