Nimrata Randhawa has let her white adjacency and the particular racism of South Carolina go to her head. South Carolina, in its zeal to prove that it is not racist, promotes some pretty wacky Republican people of color. Haley has been the recipient of good luck and Republican zeal, and she wants to keep her brand before the public's eye before it goes stale. She has to embrace both her narrow hold on brown-ness and her insistence that it means nothing to make herself acceptable to South Carolinians.
She could be thinking about the VP role; after all, a darker woman of color got it, and Republicans are not averse to looking for their own substitutes for Black Democrats. (Ask Michael Steele, but he won't admit to it.) Nimrata Randhawa Haley, perhaps you should just put your money back into the family business and call it a day.
