No, no, a thousand times no. I am against capital punishment in general, and I am particularly against something as cruel and humiliating as public execution. The US population is already desensitized to violence. The last thing we want to do is to make a spectacle of someone's death and the anguish of their family. We have enough public ugliness. We don't need to become The Hunger Games.
